GLP-1s are one of the most effective weight loss medications on the market. They are a once weekly injection. They balance blood sugar and insulin levels and controls your appetite.  Qsymia is a daily oral pill which helps control cravings and decreases hunger. You need to be on a reliable form of birth control as this medication is not safe in pregnancy.  It can cause 9.8% weight loss! 

 Contrave is a once a day pill by mouth which curbs hunger and helps with food cravings. It decreases the reward center in the brain from food and wanting to seek food for comfort. Buproprion by itself is used to treat depression so it can sometimes aid in mood difficulties as well. It can cause up to 5.4% weight loss. 

 Liraglutide is a daily injection which works similar to Semaglutide. It regulates your appetite causing weight loss and eating fewer calories. It causes about 7.4% weight loss! It should not be used if you or your family has a history of MTC or MEN-2, pancreatitis or gallbladder disease.
